The Position

The Attainia Marketing & PR Manager is a key tactical and strategic position that executes critical marketing campaigns and various projects supporting sales and marketing objectives, accelerating revenue pipeline, and establishing Attainia as the leading brand of equipment planning software in the healthcare industry. Reporting to the VP, Marketing and Revenue Enablement, this position requires hands-on experience with almost every facet of generalist marketing and PR.  The successful candidate will thrive in a busy, deadline-sensitive environment that requires the simultaneous management of multiple projects.  S/he will be able to present to groups of managers and executives as needed. The position is located at the company’s headquarters office in Scottsdale, AZ.

Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for building and leading marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan.
  • Evaluates the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on lead flow, lifetime value (LTV) and retention. Identify and implement resolutions to identified issues.
  • Manages company demand generation programs, including inbound marketing strategies (i.e., digital advertising, online content, and search engine optimization {SEO}) and assess their effectiveness.
  • Manages outbound demand generation programs and evaluates effectiveness (i.e., client and prospect newsletters, direct mail campaigns, LinkedIn posts, other campaigns as assigned).
  • Drives and edits content deliverables including blog posts, case studies and collateral materials to establish the company as a thought leader in the industry.
  • Responsible for scheduling and providing logistical support for marketing events, including annual user conference, tradeshows and webinar programs.
  • Formats press releases and distributes through PR Web and editorial listings.
  • Writes and submits editorial content to industry trade publications for publication and speaking opportunities.
  • Researches immediate market greenfield opportunities for the business and if identified as a good fit, initiates new campaign programs.
  • Collaborates with creative teams, other internal stakeholders, external agencies and vendors as necessary, such as Product, Sales, Client Success, graphic designer, show decorators and resort properties.
  • Creates the marketing calendar and ensures all stakeholders deliver commitments on time.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experienced marketing and PR generalist, with 4+ years of experience in a high-growth, technical marketing environment.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, management, communications, journalism (or similar field) is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills are essential. Must be very organized, able to manage many complex marketing programs simultaneously, and report results with recommendations for improvement.
  • Competence as a creative writer with an eye for great emails, landing pages, case studies, and articles is required, and familiarity with AP style is preferred (a writing sample will be part of the interview process).
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms (i.e., blogs, websites, email and landing page copy, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Experience with content creation and submission to industry trade organizations is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with logistical planning for in-person events, such as trade shows, prospect events, and user conferences strongly preferred.
  • Experience with the following platforms is desired: Hubspot (or other marketing automation tool), Salesforce, webinar platforms (GoToWebinar/Zoom, etc.), G-Suite, MS Office.
  • Presentation design skills strongly desired.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking.
  • Self-starter who proactively collaborates across the entire organization, including product, success, engineering, sales and management teams.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
