Position Summary

The Employee Experience Generalist performs, professional-level work related to a human resources functional area to assist the Manager, Employee Experience in the achievement of strategic objectives.  Responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs; serves as an expert resource in one or more functional human resource areas; handles programs or activities, which are extremely sensitive and have high levels of liability and risk.

  • Under limited supervision administers a wide variety of programs within a human resources functional area.  Functional areas may include, but are not limited to, recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, leaves of absence, training, payroll, and/or other human resources functional areas
  • Reviews, revises, analyzes, interprets, company policies and procedures.  Assists managers as well as individual employees
  • Assists with the planning, design, and development of key strategic systems and programs; evaluates external and internal processes; provides technical assistance to ensure compliance with related federal, state, and local regulations
  • Serves as a business partner between Employee Experience and other departments; provides information and advice on human resource issues
  • Collects, analyzes, and presents routine and complex data and/or information efficiently; organizes work and maintains effective documentation of work performed
  • Performs confidential research related to human resources issues; compiles and evaluates data and makes recommendations to the Manager, Employee Experience
  • Conducts special short or long-term projects and research as assigned
  • Facilitates employee onboarding experience and helps organize training and development initiatives
  • Assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures
  • Manages all logistical processes related to employees (set up of new employees in ADP, data input for all benefits providers, payroll review, etc.)
  • Assists in employee communication efforts (Townhall, All Hands)
  • Assists in the performance management process
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform essential duties may be considered.


  • 3+ years human resources experience with an emphasis on recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, leaves of absence
  • Federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing human resources such as FMLA, Title VII, Affirmative Action, COBRA, FLSA, EEO, ADA, ERISA, etc.


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
  • PHR certification
  • Experience using human resources systems and benefit platforms
  • Proficiency using a computer and related software applications
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now

  • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Carry out instructions furnished in writing, oral or diagram form, and to produce desired outcomes timely and completely
  • Innovate effective methods to achieve desired results
  • Communicate and use interpersonal skills to interact with employees, leadership, and vendors to sufficiently exchange or convey information and to receive work direction

  • Most work is performed in a normal office environment
